Wings and Waves Waterpark

COVID-19 POLICY & PROCEDURES

Update on Wings and Waves Waterpark 2021 Season
Daily operation for Wings and Waves Waterpark begins on Friday, June 18, 2021 and continues through Labor Day, September 6th, 2021.
Wings and Waves Waterpark’s highest priority is the safety of all guests and staff and will continue to follow the most current OHA guidance to support a healthy recreational environment.  OHA guidance varies by county and from week to week.  As changes to restrictions occur, Wings and Waves will adjust in-park capacity and mask requirements.  Please note that while masks should not be worn while actively engaged in aquatic activity, guests who are not participating will be asked to keep their masks on regardless of vaccination status until Governor Kate Brown removes all mask restrictions for the state of Oregon.  Our continuing sanitation efforts will include:
  • Ensuring all rides and ride vehicles are clean and hygienic
  • Ground queuing
  • Promoting regular and thorough hand washing by guests and staff
  • Encouraging Guests and Team Members to stay home if they are exhibiting signs of illness
  • Educating all Team Members about disease prevention, preparedness and response

Park entry may only be guaranteed to guests with reservations.  If the park is at capacity, walk-up guests will not be allowed entry.  Wings and Waves Waterpark does not keep wait-lists.
FAQs
The CDC says I don’t have to wear a mask, so why does the park still require them?
The CDC issues general guidelines, but the waterpark is required to follow the guidelines set forth by the Authority Having Jurisdiction in our area, which is the Oregon Health Authority.  Wings and Waves Waterpark is located in Yamhill County and will always follow the most current guidelines that accompany that county’s current risk level.
I am fully vaccinated.  Do I still need to wear a mask when I am not in the water or on a slide?
Yes.  Wings and Waves Waterpark will not ask to visually verify vaccination cards for any guest entering the park as continual verification would be necessary during the course of your stay to determine which guests must wear a mask and which guests do not.  To avoid constant vaccination verification while guests are in the park, guests will be asked to please continue to follow existing mask guidelines until all mask restrictions are lifted by OHA.
How do I purchase tickets?
All admission tickets can be purchased online at wingsandwaveswaterpark.com.  Park admission is only guaranteed to guests with reservations and advanced ticket purchase.  There is no waitlist.  To purchase tickets, click the “Buy Tickets” tab and then use the calendar icon that appears in the search bar to choose a date.  If reservations are available, they will appear on the right side of your screen.  Click the session you would like to attend and complete your purchase!

I don’t want to swim.  Do I still need a ticket?
Reservations and tickets are required for all guests entering the park regardless of participation.
I am a Season Pass Holder.  Do I need a reservation?
While there are capacity restrictions, Season Pass Holders will be asked to make reservations to guarantee entry to the park.  Please call 503-687-3390 or email info@wingsandwaveswaterpark.com to ensure your reservation.

Are cashless payments available?
We are encouraging all guests to make ticket purchases online and to use electronic payment to complete in-park purchases.  We can accept card and Apple Pay.
How should I prepare for my park visit?
Please be sure to bring either a printout of your confirmation email or have it accessible on your mobile device.  Be prepared to follow OHA guidance for Yamhill County; this is the guidance that applies to Wings and Waves Waterpark.  Wings and Waves Waterpark capacity and mask regulations will always follow the most current OHA guidance and may change from week to week.
Will all attractions and features be open for visitors?
All Wings and Waves Waterpark attractions are operational!  Wings and Waves Spa will be closed until all OHA Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
Are there free tubes available for the slides?
Yes!  Single solid color tubes are available for use at no charge.  If all tubes are in use, guests wishing to ride the slides will line up in the queuing areas marked at the slide unloads and tubes will be passed to the next guest waiting.  These tubes are to remain in circulation and are exclusive to the slides.  Guests may not take tubes from the slides to use elsewhere in the park.  Guests who are not making immediate use of slide tubes will be asked to return those to the slide queue.  Single and double tubes are available to rent for guests who do not wish to share a tube or would like to ride double.

May we bring our own food and drinks inside the waterpark?
No outside food or drink are allowed inside the park.  Wings and Waves Waterpark offers a limited menu at reasonable prices.
